About Miriam Hanid and our terms

By purchasing a precious metal piece from Miriam Hanid, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Silver items may be purchased from Miriam Hanid by making an enquiry on the Miriam Hanid website or by contacting Miriam Hanid by telephone, mail, email or in person.

Miriam Hanid reserves the right to revise and amend the content of the Miriam Hanid website and terms and conditions without prior notice to you.

Images and measurements of items on the miriamhanid.com website are a partial representation of the piece and are as accurate a representation as possible. Colours may vary slightly and also depend on the individual screen or monitor settings they are viewed on.

For information regarding data protection and privacy, please read Miriam Hanid’s privacy policy which is hereby incorporated into this agreement. This policy explains how Miriam Hanid uses your  personal data when you use the miriamhanid.com website.

Sales

Prices on the miriamhanid.com shop page exclude shipping and delivery.

Upon making an enquiry to purchase or order an available item, you will receive an invoice by email for the full amount or a deposit in the case of bespoke orders. This invoice can then be paid by bank transfer or over the phone using our payment card machine facility (Worldpay). A Fee of 3% plus a 20 pence transaction charge will be added for credit and debit card payments.  For bespoke orders a delivery date will be agreed. Whether UK-based or international, a shipping price, schedule and insurance value (recommended) will be suggested by email and once agreed, these will be added to the invoice where applicable. A tracking number will be provided to you. Miriam Hanid will ensure tracking and proof of postage information is provided and where that exists, if deliveries are subject to delay or loss, Miriam Hanid cannot be held responsible.

The inclusion of an item on the Miriam Hanid shop does not necessarily imply that this particular item will be available at short notice. Please contact Miriam Hanid through the contact page for specific details about lead times on delivery. Please also note that a unique piece might just have been sold to another party as you make your enquiry.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase of an item of jewellery, if unworn you can contact me by email at enquiry@miriamhanid.com or through the contact page on the miriamhanid.com website with your return details and reason for return. For larger silver objects  a return or refund is only available unless an item is faulty. Jewellery items are to be returned within a period of 14 days in the original packaging and in the exact same condition in which you received them. Miriam Hanid will offer a refund or exchange to the full value of the item once it has been checked. This does not include the original or return shipping cost, unless the item is faulty or is in need of repair. In order to return an item, please use sufficient insurance to cover the value of the item. E.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery with extra insurance as required. The cost of returning the item and insuring it is your responsibility.

Bespoke/commissioned orders are made in conjunction with a specific commission brief and therefore unless faulty, are not able to be returned. Please see the Commissions page for details of the process.

Overseas Orders

The Miriam Hanid website is available to customers worldwide. As Miriam Hanid is a UK-based business, Miriam Hanid is obliged to follow UK regulations which may exclude regulations in use in other countries.

All prices of products on the Miriam Hanid Shop page are in GBP and if you are using a Non-UK Bank, upon placing an order and paying via credit or debit card using our remote payment card machine facility (Worldpay) the amount paid is subject to the exchange rate of your own particular bank. It is the responsibility of the customer to research exchange rates and charges in purchasing from the UK. Miriam Hanid is not held responsible for any charges incurred – you should therefore ensure that your payment extends to meet any extra charges incurred.

Overseas customers are responsible for any import duties or sales taxes. Wherever possible these will be avoided through the agreement of a suitable courier for the destination. We cannot be held responsible however if extra charges are still applied.

Intellectual Property

All content included on the Miriam Hanid website and associated YouTube and other Social Media pages such as images, text, logos, video and audio clips belongs to Miriam Hanid unless otherwise indicated and requires permission to be reproduced on other platforms, unless a relevant and clear tag or reference to Miriam Hanid Social Media Channels, Website or credit to Miriam Hanid is used.
